YOUR STACKS, KEPT CLOSE
Privacy Policy
Your money creations belong on your device. Here’s what stays there, what happens when you visit this website, and what you share if you contact us.
Last updated1. What this policy covers
This policy describes the current Money Stack app and website. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Money Stack developer. It separates information stored by the app on your device from information handled when you visit the website or choose to contact us.
Money Stack is a visual cash-stacking experience. It does not connect to a bank or ask for bank credentials, payment-card numbers, or your actual account balance.
2. What stays on your device
The app stores information needed to restore your experience:
- Stack drafts, the selected currency, and denomination counts.
- Saved Vault entries, including their name, amount, currency, notes and coins, chosen date, creation time, and table style.
- Preferences such as audio settings, selected music, table style, and app-icon choice.
Vault entries use a local database. Drafts and preferences use local app or operating-system storage. The current app does not include an advertising, analytics, or third-party crash-reporting SDK, and does not upload these stacks or preferences to a developer-operated server.
Local data remains until you change or delete it, clear the app’s data, or remove the app. Your device’s backup or restore service may include app data according to its own settings and policies. That is separate from a Money Stack cloud-sync service, which is not currently offered.
3. Visiting this website
This website’s own code does not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or browser storage to remember your preview choices. Fonts, screenshots, and other page assets are served with the website. Currency, table, and icon previews run in your browser.
Cloudflare hosts and protects this website and may process routine connection information, such as IP address, requested page, browser information, and time of access, to deliver and secure it.
When you approach the contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile loads to help distinguish visitors from automated spam. This security check can process technical browser and connection information before you submit a message. See the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Policy for its data practices.
4. If you contact us
Typing into the contact fields does not send their contents to us. When the form is available and you press “Send message,” your optional name, email address, selected topic, and message are submitted to our Cloudflare-hosted endpoint. The server checks the Turnstile token before using Resend to deliver the message to [email protected].
The form does not save messages in browser storage or a website database. Submitted messages are processed by the delivery service and our receiving email provider. A success message confirms acceptance by the email service, not that a person has read or replied to your message.
We use your correspondence to respond, troubleshoot a reported issue, or handle a privacy request—not to automatically subscribe you to marketing. Contact correspondence may be retained for as long as needed to resolve the inquiry, maintain relevant support records, or meet applicable legal obligations. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, or sensitive financial records. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, handling ordinary inquiries supports our legitimate interest in providing support; legal-obligation processing applies where required.
5. Other services and sharing
We do not sell your stack data or use it for targeted advertising. We do not have remote access to your locally saved Vault through the app.
If you open an app-store link, an optional developer-support service, or another external destination, that service handles information under its own policies. The operating system and app store may also process diagnostics, downloads, or backups under your platform settings. Email and hosting providers may process information in other countries, depending on the providers involved.
Information you send to us may also be disclosed if required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect legal rights and the security of the service. This does not give us access to your on-device stacks.
6. Your choices and rights
You can edit or delete saved stacks in the Vault and change preferences in Settings. To remove all local app data, use your device’s app-data controls or remove the app; check your operating-system backup settings separately. We cannot remotely retrieve, correct, or erase stacks that exist only on your device.
For information you have sent to us, you may request access, correction, or deletion using the contact form. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, receive a portable copy, or complain to your local data-protection authority. Requests are handled subject to applicable law and any information we reasonably need to verify the request.
No storage or transmission method is completely risk-free. Keep your device protected and avoid including sensitive personal information in stack names or support messages.
7. Children’s privacy
The current app does not require an account or collect personal details from users to build stacks. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children through the contact form. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us personal information can contact us to request its removal, subject to applicable law.
8. Updates and contact
We will update this policy if features or data practices change, and revise the date at the top. Where required, we will provide additional notice before new processing begins.
For a question or privacy request, use the contact form and choose “Privacy or terms.” For the conditions of using the app, see our Terms of Use.
